Welcome to VoIPStack — a modern, secure, and flexible platform to monitor, manage, and scale your VoIP infrastructure. This guide walks you through the essential steps to start using our system effectively.
Step 1: Register an Account
- Visit our registration page: Register
- Fill in your company details, email, and secure password.
- Confirm your email address through the verification link sent to your inbox.
- Log in to access your personal dashboard.
Step 2: Create a Tenant
- Go to the Admin Backoffice Dashboard after logging in.
- Navigate to Tenants →
New Tenant
.- Fill in basic company or client details.
Step 3: Create a Softswitch Entry
- Download and install VOIPSTACK Agent
- Generate public key and private key with
./voipstack_agent --generate-private-key private_key.pem
- Copy the public key printed on the screen.
- Under the newly created tenant, go to Softswitches →
New Softswitch
.- Specify name and other config parameters.
- Register the softswitch with the public key.
- Copy the generated token that identifies the softswitch.
Step 4: Run the Agent with Your Token
Follow the instructions on the VOIPSTACK Agent Website
The agent will securely connect to VoIPStack’s backend and begin syncing softswitch state and metrics.
Final check
- Go back to your Admin Backoffice.
- Verify the softswitch state

View usage, metrics, and softswitch health via your dashboard.
Billing is calculated based on the active state and size of each connected softswitch — all in a single billing view.
