Quick Start

Welcome to VoIPStack — a modern, secure, and flexible platform to monitor, manage, and scale your VoIP infrastructure. This guide walks you through the essential steps to start using our system effectively.


Step 1: Register an Account

  1. Visit our registration page: https://admin.voipstack.com/users/register
  2. Fill in your company details, email, and secure password.
  3. Confirm your email address through the verification link sent to your inbox.
  4. Log in to access your personal dashboard.

Step 2: Create a Tenant and Softswitch Entry

  1. Go to the Admin Backoffice Dashboard after logging in.
  2. Navigate to TenantsNew Tenant.
    • Fill in basic company or client details.
  3. Under the newly created tenant, go to SoftswitchesNew Softswitch.
    • Specify name and other config parameters.

This step will automatically generate a unique Agent Token for the softswitch.


Step 3: Download the VoIPStack Open Source Agent

  1. After logging in, navigate to Downloads or go to github releases.
  2. Choose the appropriate version of the agent for your server’s OS.
  3. Download and save the executable on the server where your softswitch is running.

Step 4: Run the Agent with Your Token

  1. On your softswitch server, run the installed agent with the token:

    ./bin/agent -s fs://ClueCon:ClueCon@172.15.238.10:8021 -i YOUR_GENERATED_TOKEN
    

The agent will securely connect to VoIPStack’s backend and begin syncing softswitch state and metrics.

Final check

  • Go back to your Admin Backoffice https://admin.voipstack.io/users/log_in.
  • Verify the softswitch state Tenant -> Select softswitch -> Validate softswitch.

Billing & Monitoring

  • View usage, metrics, and softswitch health via your dashboard.

  • Billing is calculated based on the active state and size of each connected softswitch — all in a single billing view.
